Built by A. MacMillan & Sons, Dumbarton. 1880: delivered to a 'one ship' company in which NASM participated, 1881: acquired by NASM, 1884 (July): ran aground near Sable Island, 1884 (October): wreck sold.

s.s. Amsterdam (2)

s.s. Amsterdam (2), 3.607 grt., 1887 - 1905 *

Built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast in 1879 as 'British Crown', 1887 (November): acquired by NASM and renamed 'Amsterdam', 1905 (February): sold, renamed 'Amsterda' and scrapped at Genoa in November 1905.
