Built by N.V. Dok- en Werkmaatschappij Wilton-Fijenoord, Schiedam. 1939 (1 September): keel laid; 1940 (27 July): floated out; 1942 (28 August): sank by Allied bombing, in November raised, repaired and laid up; 1944 (September): sank by Dutch underground, raised; 1945 (16 January): sank by Dutch underground, in August raised and completed; 1965: sold and scrapped at Alicante.

m.s. Westerdam (2), 53.872 grt., 1988 - 2002 *

Built by Jos L. Meijer GmbH & Co, Papenburg am Ems in 1986 as 'Homeric' for Home Line Inc.; 1988: Home Line Inc. Acquired by HAL, renamed Westerdam; 1989: lenghtened with 43 meter; 2002: sold to Costa Crocieres, renamed Costa Europa.
